What to send when you hire stream overlays

Hiring stream overlays goes faster when the brief is clear. You do not need a 20-page deck. You need the right links, files, and decisions so the kit matches your show on night one.

1. Show links (required)

Send two or three recent Twitch or Kick streams. Live VOD or screen recordings are fine. We need to see your real layout: where chat sits, how you hold the card, and what buyers already expect from your room.

• Links to recent streams (not just a profile).
• Note the format: Breaks, Singles, Surprise Sets, or mix.
• Call out one night that felt good and one that felt messy.

2. What you sell and how you run the room

Category and format drive the kit. A PYT sports break needs a board buyers can read mid-chat. Fashion or lifestyle singles need a cleaner product frame. Say it in plain words.

• Category: sports cards, TCG, fashion, toys, mixed.
• Main format most weeks.
• Typical show length and how often you go live.
• Any recurring segments (giveaway, pull cam, team reveal).

3. Brand files

Send whatever you already have. PNG logos with transparency beat a cropped Instagram story. If you only have a phone photo of a logo, say so. We can rebuild, but we need to know what is sacred.

• Logo (PNG or SVG preferred).
• Colors you must keep (hex if you have them).
• Fonts you already use, or permission to pick close matches.
• Anything you never want on stream (old name, retired mark).

4. What to build first

Rank the kit. Do not ask for everything on day one unless you need it. A solid overlay plus one board and matching thumbs beats a half-finished mega pack.

1. Live overlay / safe-area frame.
2. Break or format board (if you run spots).
3. Show thumbnails that match the live look.
4. Sold, giveaway, or pull states if you use them weekly.

5. Tech notes that save revisions

• OBS, Streamlabs, or platform native tools.
• Phone vs camera for card cam.
• Vertical layout constraints you already fight.
• Any widget you refuse to cover (timer, goal bar, guest cam).
