What to send when you hire stream overlays
A clear brief checklist for hiring Twitch overlays, panels, and OBS packages: files, links, and decisions that speed delivery.
On this page
Hiring stream overlays goes faster when the brief is clear. You do not need a long deck. You need the right links, files, and decisions so the kit matches your channel on night one.
This checklist is what we ask for before we build overlays, alerts, screens, and panels. Use it with any studio. If you want GFX Bracket to run the Free Audit, the same fields map straight into that form.
1. Channel links (required)
Send two or three recent Twitch or Kick VODs. We need to see your real layout: where chat sits, how big the webcam is, and what viewers already expect from your room.
- Links to recent streams (not just a profile).
- Note the format: Just Chatting, gameplay, IRL, variety.
- Call out one night that felt good and one that felt messy.
2. Brand assets
- Logo (SVG or transparent PNG if you have it).
- Colors: hex codes or a simple palette screenshot.
- Fonts you already use on stream or socials.
- Any mascot, character, or art that must stay.
3. Scenes and widgets
List the scenes you need: starting soon, live, BRB, ending, maybe a special event screen. Say which alerts fire (follow, sub, donation, raid) and which widgets stay on screen.
- Scenes you go live with every week.
- Alert list in priority order.
- Any widget you refuse to cover (timer, goal bar, guest cam).
4. Deadline and budget range
Tell us the next big stream or launch date. A range is fine. Scope and timeline depend on the kit. Free Audit is the fastest way to get a concrete next step.
Missing assets slow delivery more than missing mood boards. Start with VODs and logo.
